3 WAYS TO GET A JOB AFTER YOUR EDUCATION


All people after their studies or education have the desire to get a job. Besides, the purpose for which we study is not only to acquire knowledge, but also to get a job where we will be paid, and able to take care of ourselves and our loves ones. It’s very frustrating that after your education you are unable to get a job or become self-employed. Nevertheless, knowledge is power, and to be informed is to be successful in life. Many failed to succeed because they were not informed or never understood the principles of success in some particular domains.  3 Ways to get a job after your education will inform and prepare you for the job market.

Request for an Internship: Applying for an internship after your education is very important. This helps to prepare you for the job market. An internship is the practical part of what you studied in school. During most internship programmes, they expect you to demonstrate your educational skills in a real life situation. Most internship programs are a minimum of 3months and a maximum of six months. It is always important for a start though the period of practical is short. Internship only prepares you at the primary level.

Apply for volunteer programmes: After you must have done an internship programme, apply for a volunteer programme in your domain. Search for volunteer programs in your community, or in web browsers such as Google. You could also register on volunteer groups or associations online which will be giving you feedbacks concerning available volunteer positions in your domain. When you volunteer with a community or an organization; that is where your critical work experience begins. You can volunteer for more than a year with an organisation or an institution meanwhile for an internship it’s just for some months. In the domain of volunteer, you will have enough time to encounter challenges in your area of studies, learn how to overcome them with time and experience.

Apply for a real paid job: After you must have done your internship and volunteer with an organisation, community or institution; you can now apply for a real paid Job. The internship and the volunteer services render had prepared you to develop your aptness and competence to apply for a real paid job. You could prepare your resume with your achievements and challenges. You could easily answer job interview questions such as "what was that challenging situation in your job site, and how did you handle and overcome that challenge". You can better resolve situations because you went through all the above steps.
In a nutshell, going through an internship programme and a volunteer programme are tools and successful mechanism to prepare students to develop skills and experience in their field of studies in order to get a well-paid job.
